Precast & Masonry Expo 2025

The Precast & Masonry Expo returned on Thursday 15 May 2025, bringing together professionals from across the built environment sector for a dynamic day of knowledge sharing, collaboration and forward-thinking discussions.

The speaker programme began with a comprehensive session on the Mineral Products Association’s priorities for 2025. Giving attendees a clearer understanding of work being carried out across the Mineral Products Association to support members and advocate for the sector but also how members themselves can engage to strengthen the industry voice.

The second session with Andrew Dewdney, Director and Head of MMC at Kier Construction explored how the delivery of infrastructure projects is evolving through Modern Methods of Construction, digitalisation and industrialisation. Highlighting the central role precast and masonry manufacturers will play in delivering efficient, future-ready infrastructure.

The third session with Nina Cardinal, Technical Strategy Director at Heidelberg Materials UK, reinforced the importance of accurate emissions tracking and credible carbon reduction strategies as the sector works toward net zero goals.

In the final seminar of the day Andrew Cowan and Martin McGrenaghan from One Click LCA provided a live demonstration of the EPD Tool, giving attendees a first-hand look at how manufacturers can embed EPDs into their product data and marketing strategies.

Throughout the day, the Expo floor was alive with conversation, knowledge-sharing and discovery. The exhibition brought together over 60 exhibitors, made up of leading suppliers, technical experts and innovators from across the supply chain, offering fresh perspectives and showcasing the latest product and service developments.

A huge thank you to all our speakers, event sponsors, exhibitors and every attendee who made the Precast and Masonry Expo 2025 such a success!
