The construction industry, despite many good efforts, is still perceived in a very narrow way when it comes to the skills it offers.

However, it’s important to realise that the range of jobs and skills required within the precast industry is actually very broad. Within the precast sector alone there are technical, commercial and sales roles; factory based machine operators, quality control and logistics jobs.

​On project sites, there is a need for managers, surveyors, and installers of precast elements of all shapes and sizes. All of these roles play a significant part in helping to build a sustainable built environment. With such a wide variety of rewarding careers on offer, the opportunities available to young people within our sector should be celebrated.
