Managing mental health in the workplace can be a daunting and challenging prospect with many people admitting that they don’t know where to start. However, most people understand that there is a legal, financial and moral case for tackling this important topic.
HSE is the regulator for majority of business activity in the minerals product sector. The new HSE 10-year strategy, ‘Protecting People and Places’, could not be more explicit in terms of HSE’s focus on managing a worsening trend of ill health with a particular focus on managing mental health and stress.
