Bennetts Associates have a creative approach to architecture, with sustainability at the core of the process. Their work shows a great understanding of concrete’s potential, in particular the use of thermal mass, the use of which is supported by the practice’s own research.
RBA has been at the forefront of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) for over 20 years and recognises the potential of concrete block permeable paving (CBPP) as a key, multifunctional SuDS technique. RBA has made the most of permeable paving to deliver a gradual flow of clean water for amenity, landscape design, biodiversity, education and recycling on numerous SuDS schemes include housing, schools and commercial developments, as well as civic and public realm enhancements.

2015 - Heatherwick Studio
A body of work demonstrating remarkable innovation whilst incorporating artistic concrete design. Projects include the Nanyang Learning Hub, Singapore, and Zeitz MOCAA, South Africa. Presented by William Doherty, Member of the British Precast Council.
Long Service Awards and Certificates
One initiative that we are borrowing from our European colleagues in BIBM is to recognise long service in the precast industry. Framed long-service award certificates for continuous service over 10, 20, 25 and 30 years are available anytime that a member nominates employees who have reached such milestones, and can be backdated to the start of the year.
